Having an air fryer is one of the healthiest (and easiest) ways you can cook and have your fried food too! An air fryer has less exposure to harmful compounds: The existing cooking methods produce certain compounds and also destroy nutrients. This is dangerous for you as it produces harmful compounds such as cancer-causing elements. However, when you prepare your meals using an air fryer, the harmful compounds are not generated.
You can create some of the most amazing culinary feasts in a matter of minutes.
One of the more popular dishes to make of course is air fried chicken. This recipe also includes the traditional vegetables to make a savory meal.
You will be using a whole chicken, which is also great for meal prep!
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Servings: 8
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, cut into medium pieces (I prefer to keep the skin on to keep it from drying out)
3 tablespoons white wine
2 medium carrots, chopped
1 cup chicken stock
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
Salt and black pepper to taste
TIPS:
For spices, mix things up! Add some garlic, parsley, basil, or rosemary for a great tasting dish. Or try out a new pre-made spice mix!
If you are meal prepping, you can also add some additional vegetables such as potatoes, celery, onions, green beans, and broccoli. Just follow your air fryer cooking guide for proper cooking times.
Always check internal temp with a meat thermometer to ensure properly cooked meat.
Directions:
1. In a pan that fits your air fryer, mix all of the ingredients.
2. Put the pan in the air fryer and cook at 370 degrees F for 20 minutes.
3. Divide between plates and serve.
